Numerous devices fathomed by screenwriters, directors, and set designers of sci-fi film leaked into the real world, and this process was documented by print advertisements in contemporary popular magazines. Hereby is a digital archive of the most prominent communication gadgets and space-inspired aesthetic projects from 1957 – 1970 Playboy magazines, Popular Science magazine from the 1960s, and several other honorable mentions scanned from "All-American Ads of '60s", edited by Jim Heimann.
